Controlled demolition, not a breaker on day one
Concrete demolition in Dubai often happens inside a building that has to survive the work. A slab bay in a warehouse, a staircase in a villa, a wall between two retail units: the neighbour is still there. Smashing from the start cracks finishes and overloads the slab with rubble.
Gulf Cut cuts the element first with a wall saw, floor saw or wire saw, then breaks or lifts the released pieces. The line of the cut is the line on the drawing. The rest of the structure stays.
Stairs, slabs and beams
Staircase demolition is sequenced from the top or in marked flights so the remaining flight can still be used or so the opening is safe at the end of the shift. Slab demolition is cut into liftable panels. Beam cutting releases a member only after the temporary support, if the engineer asked for it, is in place.
Residential, commercial and industrial sites across Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi use the same rule: know what is structural, scan if the slab is post-tensioned, then cut.
What to send for a quotation
A plan, the thickness, photos of access, and whether the building stays occupied. Say if the concrete has to leave the site the same day. Night work and mall hours change the crew size more than the cutting method does.
Gulf Cut is based in Al Qouz Fourth, Al Quoz, Dubai. Call +971 50 596 2816 or use the contact form and name the element you need removed.
Questions we get on site
Can you demolish one bay without closing the warehouse?
Often yes. The bay is isolated, cut, and cleared while other aisles stay in use. Access, dust and crane or skip position have to be agreed with the site.
Do you remove the rubble?
We cut and break down the concrete so it can be removed. Skip location and who hauls the waste should be confirmed in the quotation.
Is this the same as soft stripping a fit-out?
No. This is structural concrete: slabs, stairs, walls and beams. Partitions and ceilings are a different trade.
